Challenge

Funk is still treated as marginal culture, almost never as a language with its own tradition, rigor and school.

Idea

Found a university of funk. Not to soften the culture, but to give it the symbolic weight of a respected institution.

What I did

I built the whole universe, from concept to identity, plus a series of posters and concept art. It's still ongoing, and it's growing into something much bigger.

Next steps

  1. To Gather the most sought after funk artists and turn them into teachers.
  2. To Define the course subjects and create a proper school system.
  3. To Design the university website and make it known to any that loves this culture.
  4. To File the right documents and make this legit.
